Sanibel Captiva Art League invites artists to submit work to be considered for the “Reflections and Shadows” juried visual arts exhibit. BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery will display works in watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media, collage, sculpture, and original prints with “reflections and shadows.” Judge is Dana Roes, Professor of Art at Edison State College. Date to deliver entries for judging is Tuesday, December 4; exhibit open December 6 through January 12.
The “Buy it Off the Wall” Visual Arts Exhibit will feature art in many different types of media; the call to artists specifies the work submitted be 12” by 12” or smaller. Artwork will be sold directly off the walls in Founders Gallery. Entries must be delivered to BIG ARTS Tuesday, December 4 for judging. Exhibit runs December 6 through January 12.
BIG ARTS invites artists to submit fine art that incorporates paper, to be considered for the “Crossing the Line with Paper” juried visual arts exhibit. Entries must be delivered for judging Tuesday, January 15. This exhibit is open January 17 through February 28 in BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery. Juror is Ron Bishop, Director, Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at Edison State College.
The “It’s Raining Cats and Dogs” juried visual arts exhibit seeks artworks in many types of media featuring feline and canine-themed art (theme is open to interpretation)
The juried Fine Crafts Exhibition seeks entries of original, fine art objects with a high level of craftsmanship. Juror is Anica Sturdivant, Interim Gallery Director, Florida Gulf Coast University. Entries must be entered for submission Tuesday, April 2. Exhibit open in BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery April 4 through 30.
