GuideK12™ Invited to Inaugural DOE Datapalooza

Oct. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Oct 11, 2012 Eagan, MN –GuideK12 participated in the first Education Datapalooza, hosted by the White House and the U.S. Department of Education on October 9th 2012.  

The Datapalooza was a follow up meeting held by the US Department of Education and the White House in Washington DC. Participants were challenged to share innovative ideas fueled by open data for the advancement of educational achievement. GuideK12 worked with a team of executives from other education technology companies to present high impact, innovative solutions.

Special guests at this year’s event included U.S. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan; U.S. Chief Technology Officer, Todd Park; and Assistant Deputy Secretary for Innovation and Improvement at the U.S. Department of Education, Jim Shelton.
