The independent band has been compared to U2 & Coldplay, and Australian music magazine Triple M described them as ‘a band to watch over the next year’ due to their ability to sell out venues and from constructing a solid fan base over the last 12 months. With a successful run of shows from Melbourne to Brisbane, Bass player Josh Belz promises fans that ‘this is the band as you would hear it live’.
They hope to further outdo the successes of 2011, which saw their single ‘How Long’ being played on over 40 radio stations around Australia, while the corresponding film clip was showcased on ABC’s ‘Rage’ program. The increased media exposure propelled the band into an opening slot at Skilled Park Stadium, further developing their reputation as a class live act. Whatever happens, the future is certainly looking bright for Starlight Theatre!
