Fourth Wall Studios develops, distributes and markets content that crosses the traditional barrier between audience and onscreen action, resulting in entertainment experiences that are more connected, immersive and real. Founded in 2007 by Stewartson, Lee and Stewart, three award-winning, next-generation storytellers, the Culver City, Calif.-based company develops a wide range of interactive entertainment properties designed for RIDES.tv, their proprietary entertainment platform. RIDES are immersive, narrative experiences that deliver an unfolding story across multiple screens via web browsers, smartphones and tablets.
Fourth Wall's first major series for RIDES, Dirty Work, recently won a Primetime Emmy(r) Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media: Original Interactive Television Programming. Other credits include Claire, the Dark Wall anthology, Home: A Ghost Story, Whispers, The Swarming and Flare, among many other series now in development. The studio is also actively engaged with partners to create and develop more projects for RIDES.tv as its popularity explodes.
Createsphere's Entertainment Technology Expo is the one of the largest professional entertainment events in Los Angeles. It is the premiere gathering of industry leaders, disruptive innovators and creative geniuses driving content into the next century. The two-day event features trend-setting sessions, demonstrations, a full exhibition area, networking opportunities and education. Additional keynote conversations slated include high-profile artists and hands-on demonstrations of on-set experiences and tools.
Making its debut this year at ETE is the Digital Process Workflow (DPW) Lab. The DPW Lab is a curated, walk-through demonstration of the digital workflow ecosystem and the processes that define how content is created, distributed and archived today. As both the cinema and broadcast industries continue to adopt new digital technologies, the DPW Lab will demonstrate the current state of customizable strategies that are scalable and affordable, based on real-world solutions that Lab partners are integrating and creating every day in post. Lab partners include: Dell, ARRI, Technicolor, Adobe, 5th Kind, FilmLight, Signiant, Levels Beyond, Quantum and Codex. Together they demonstrate file-based content creation from capture, to archive and distribution.
Gear Alley gives attendees a hands-on opportunity to get a close-up look at the latest tools for content creation at ETE. It includes presentations by SOC President Chris Tufty, SOC, and Emmy Award-winning cameraman Eddie Barber.
The Post Production Master Class brings the post production community together with industry leaders for intensive seminars, keynote sessions and one-on-one demos, all with an emphasis on the business of post production.
