Profit Growth International colleague and U.S. Army Veteran, Matt Sierra, leaving for traininig

Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- (New York and St. Louis) Matt Sierra started with Profit Growth International partner Strategy Leaders in January 2012 in New York as an intern, successfully completing his internship to become a full time employee.

His military path began in 2003 at the age of 17, joining the Army and performing several overseas deployments to both Asia and the Middle East. Mat is a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Since returning home, Matt has made it his mission to excel academically, earning both an A.S. in Liberal Arts and a B.S. in Business Administration. Matt is currently working on his MBA at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Matt will be leaving his unit, the 213th Engineering Installation Squadron of the 105th Air Wing, located at Stewart Air Force Base in Newburgh, New York to pursue this training. Matt’s various military achievements have earned him the rank of Staff Sergeant, and this training will further enhance his ability to excel both within and outside of the military.

These systems are used to support tactical and strategic operations for his unit. He will be leaving October 2012 and returning February 2013.

He will learn various techniques used in the installation and implementation of cables and antenna systems. Training will include climbing techniques, digging and burying of ground cables, trouble-shooting faulty equipment, the placement of cables throughout interior settings, splicing, ending, and other techniques to help improve the quality of military communications in war zones, to increase efficiency and safety.
