New York – 10/8/2012 - ProcureCon and My Purchasing Center are excited to announce the first ever Excellence in Procurement of Indirect Categories Awards, also know as the EPIC Awards.
The EPIC Awards look to honor an individual, “rising star,” team and supplier who display merit in the corporate procurement field.
Suppliers and rising stars must be nominated to be considered for the award; however anyone can complete a submission for the individual and team awards.
The winners will be honored at ProcureCon Indirect East 2013, taking place February 11-13, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. Each winner will receive:
• A video interview and joint winner article on the My Purchasing Center website
• A cover article in a dedicated ProcureCon email (along with a posting to the LinkedIn community & a ‘thevaluechain’
• An onstage interview at ProcureCon Indirect East 2013
• A video interview shared with the global ProcureCon database
Winners of the individual and rising star category and one representative from the team and supplier category will also receive complimentary event registration and one hotel night at the event venue (Hilton Charlotte University Place).
Complimentary registrations will also be given to the individuals that nominate the winners of the rising star and supplier categories.
To enter the awards competition visit www.procureconindirect.com. Click on the “Awards” tab on the left side of the page and complete the entry form. The award entry deadline is Friday, November 30, 2012. Participants are asked to submit thoughtful responses to describe their case study, but the entire process should take about 20 minutes.
