Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Jet lag is a very common occurrence to many who travel between different time zones. Caused by a disruption of the bio-rhythm, jet lag could last for days and adversely impact your travel plans.  

Jet lags don't happen if a person is traveling north to south.  This is because you are traveling in the same time zone.  Many travelers have experienced greater effect of jet lag when traveling from west to east.  

It takes one day to recover from a travel time of one time zone.  So if  you are traveling 3 times zones, it could take you up to three days to recover.

Insomnia and other forms of sleep disorders are one of the main ones.  But aside from the sleep disorders and waking up and sleeping at strange hours, there could be other symptoms.

Disruption of hormonal and enzyme secretion could result in adverse impact to the body.  If you are not aware of these symptoms (what they are) you might think that the symptom could be the result of other physical ailments.
