There With Care Hosts Red Carpet Adventure Benefit Saturday and Sunday

Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- DENVER– There With Care is proud to present A Red Carpet Adventure, a musical dinner benefit starring a Law and Order actor and a popular jazz pianist on Saturday, October 13 at the Cable Center on the University of Denver campus in Denver and on Sunday, October 14 at the NCAR Center Green campus in Boulder.

What: A benefit to raise money for the There With Care Foundation and celebrate eight years of helping children and their families. The event will include the following special guests and performances:

•   Jesse L. Martin, Law and Order and Rent
•   Award-winning jazz pianist Justin Kauflin
•   Singer/songwriter Zach Heckendorf
•   Take To The Oars
•   Grammy winner Diane Reeves (Denver event only)
•   Special film by actress AnnaSophia Robb (Soul Surfer) and director Jeff Orlowski (Chasing Ice)

Where: Saturday: Cable Center—DU campus, 2000 Buchtel Boulevard, Denver, CO 80210

Sunday: NCAR—Center Green campus, 3080 Center Green Drive, Boulder, CO 80301

When: Saturday, October 13 (Denver) from 5-9 p.m.
Sunday, October 14 (Boulder) from 5-9 p.m.

Why: Families shouldn’t struggle during a time of medical crisis. There With Care is there for them, providing people, networking contacts and any services needed to ease the burden on families.  


About There With Care
There With Care is a community of people who dedicate their time serving children and their families when facing critical illness. The organization serves families who are referred by social workers, building a network of services and people who ease the burden of the day-to-day challenges with compassion and care. In 2005, Paula DuPre’ Pesmen left her film career as producer of the Harry Potter films to start There With Care. While on set, Paula met critically ill children and learned how isolated and overwhelmed their parents felt. In response, Paula created There With Care to support each family by delivering daily services during their child’s medical illness. Since inception, There With Care has supported more than 1,000 families in Colorado.
