The event will feature cocktails, dinner by the bites and raffle prizes. The event will also feature an auction of Children’s Peace Art created by the students of the MCF Academy (
http://www.mcfacademy.org/) and curated by Little Picasso NYC. The auction will benefit the MCF Academy, a tuition-free boarding school for orphans and abandoned children in post-war Liberia. All proceeds from the event will grant additional academic scholarships for the 2012/13 school year. Along with their academy scholarship – each recipient or incoming student will receive their personal bed (which is something they have never had before in their life), two sets of school uniforms, a back pack filled with supplies, a pair of shoes and three nourishing meals a day in a safe and secure environment.
