Big Ideas, Small Space: 2600 Groceries in 260 Square Feet

Space is tight in South Philly, and Green Aisle Grocery (1618 EPA), carved out of a Passyunk rowhome, is designed to maximize every square inch. Owners Adam and Andrew Erace, with Chef Becca O'Brien, have launched a new local-fruit jam line out of the 260 square-foot space. Stop by for a sample of peach hibiscus, blueberry cardamom or other inventive flavors. FREE.
Green Wall Design

Why is a green wall such a unique design method for interior and exterior design? Urban Jungle (1526 EPA) presents a demonstration about the intricacies of green wall design. They will show you how to design, prepare, and build a living green wall in your home or business. FREE.
Music + Design

Join us for a day of all things music at Kings Music (1828 EPA)! Record and design your own personal CD and custom design your own guitar. The Quaker City Mummer String Band will perform outside from 1:00pm - 2:30pm. During the show, kids (up to 15 years old) can enter a design the most imaginative mummers contest. First place prize is four music lessons or $50 in accessories. FREE.
Jewelry Repair and Restoration

Stop by to watch a true jewelry craftsman creating and restoring jewelry items at Sermania Jewelry (1719 EPA). Fringe Salon (1728 EPA) hosts an art opening featuring Avalon Clare, an artist and illustrator from Colorado, has lived In Philly for the past eight years. Through this collection of digital drawings, Clare introduces East Passyunk Avenue - her favorite part of the city - celebrating its people and places: the baristas, waitresses, hairdressers, and residents who have made it the interesting and eclectic street that has captured her imagination. Annual Home Tour

Passyunk Square Civic Association's Annual Home Tour will feature up to ten unique homes in the Passyunk Square District. Participants receive a map for the self-guided walking tour, plus free pizza, drink ticket and admission to a wrap-up party at the South Philly Bar and Grill (1235 EPA). Tickets are $20.
