Consorcio Express is using GoalBus® and GoalDriver® to schedule its operations for Bogotá's SITP

After exhaustive testing of the main software solutions available on the market by Bogotá's Integrated Public Transit System (SITP in Spanish), one of the companies that operates the city's system, CONSORTIO EXPRESS, has chosen GoalBus® and GoalDriver® as tools for optimal resource planning and shift assignments for personnel, respectively. This will give the company an advantaged technological and operational position within the system.

Acquisition and implementation of the GoalBus® and GoalDriver® software now ensures that the company will enjoy an excellent position within the SITP, since it will benefit from the highest level of optimization on the market, and therefore lower operating costs as well. In April, GOAL SYSTEMS was already awarded the contract for the SITP's operational scheduling system for buses and for Phase III of its Transmilenio service, with approximately 14,000 buses included in the entire system.

The company Consorcio Express was awarded the contact for operating 2,700 buses in the San Cristóbal and Usaquén regions.

In the next few months, new contracting is also expected to take place with the rest of the companies that operate Bogotá's SITP.
