The Bridge: Chef Surajit banerjee and his young team will add a zing to the concept of eating out with a special a la carte menu for Lunch & Dinner from October 19 – 24th. The spread will include delicious vegetarian dishes as well as fish, chicken, mutton and prawn to please any meat or fish lover and for those with a sweet tooth-you are in for a treat you will never forget. Some of the dishes include the mouth watering Balsamic and Honey Rubbed Wood Fried Boneless Hilsa and Pan Seared Pink Atlantic Salmon. Other tongue – tingling options include Scallops in Holy Basil Malai Curry, Murgh Irani, Australian Lamb Shanks, Thakur Barir Kosha Mangsho with Luchi and Be- masale ka Korma.
Those who want to celebrate this Puja in a style of their own a special buffet spread is a perfect option for you, the buffet will include juicy prawns along with a range of other dishes as varied as the cuisine of the place. You can take your pick from a variety of Indian and world cuisine and many more scrumptious delights. Zen: During October Zen will serve an all special menu (Kolkata Tangra Khana) put together by the high priests of Oriental Cuisine - Chef Suwan Kongvaree, Chef Kraison Amonkun & Chef Ananchai Suttison. Sample the subtle yet spicy flavors and watch him create wonders with the wok. Choose from his specialties like Kung bao river prawns, Hot and sour crispy snapper, Mandarin fish, Chilli pork ribs; end your meal with the ever popular - toffee walnut with ice cream.. , Chingri Malai curry, Kancha lankar mangso and Tangra style chilly chicken to name just a few. No description of Bengali food is complete without mentioning the famous Amsotto khajoorer chutney. The Street: Celebrate the festival with a special Kolkata promotion at The Street Cafe. Experience the anytime favorite street food of by lanes of Kolkata at The Street rustled up by Chef Punam & her team. Excellent Take-Away selection of Bengali delicacies (Hiner Kochuri ar khosa Aloor Tarkari, Keema Moghlai Porota with Kosha Aloo, Bekti machher kabiraji etc) The Puja specials will be made available from 12noon – Midnight from October 19 – 31st.
Tantra, Roxy, Aqua & Someplace Else: Take in the intoxicating music or tap your feet on the dance floor with special Bengali innovative snacks at the bars. Choose from an elaborate selection of Veg & Non Veg snacks (Non Veg - Radhuni Flavoured Tandoori Jhinge/ Kung bao river prawns /Steamed pahari pork momo; Veg- Golden Fried Baby corn with Hot Garlic Dip/ Pan seared chilli tofu/Tangra fried wantons. Dig into these scrumptious delights 7pm Onwards from October 19 – 31st. *Pls note 2 days during the Puja will be Dry Days, Dates are yet to be confirmed from the authorities.
Flurys: When we speak about Durga Puja in Kolkata, how can we miss Flurys? a name synonymous since time with mouthwatering goodies has become a part of the rich heritage that symbolizes Kolkata.
