On December 3rd, the salon and its staff will donate 100% of the proceeds for all services. Additionally, Balance will donate $10 for each person who mentions Moveable Feast, when booking an appointment, for the entire month of December.
Balance is a small, independently owned salon, that is deeply rooted in the Arts and the Community. We believe that we can make the world a better place, one head at a time. The following are some facts that move us to support this great organization:

Breast Cancer in Maryland
5 – Maryland ranks 5th in the nation, out of 50 states, for deaths from breast cancer.
800 – Expected deaths in Maryland due to breast cancer in 2011
4,850 – Expected breast cancer diagnoses of women in Maryland in 2011
