In response to customer feedback, Ben’s has decided to expand its flu shot incentive to allow more customers to take advantage of its free soup offer, rather than hold separate flu shot events at each of its locations. Anyone who gets a flu shot between October 15 and November 15 and brings in a receipt within three days of receiving the shot will receive a certificate good for a free bowl or pint of Ben’s chicken noodle soup.
It is recommended that the most susceptible to contracting the flu — especially senior citizens and those who come into contact with the general public — should get a flu shot. In addition, Ben’s believes its famous chicken noodle soup is the ideal complement to fighting off colds and flu.
“We cure our own corned beef. Our chicken soup cures everything else!” said Ronnie Dragoon, Owner-Founder, Ben’s Deli. “With cold and flu season coming up, our chicken soup is the best medicine you can get without a prescription. Ben’s thinks that a flu shot and chicken soup could be better than a flu shot alone. As many Jewish grandmothers have said forever, ‘It couldn’t hoit!’”
