To ensure the highest level of Safety in A60 and AO boundaries throughout the operating
life of the substation, Harland & Wolff chose CSD Sealing System's SLIPSIL Plugs and RISE Multi-cable Transit system instead of Block style Multi Cable Transits with the approval of RWE and Siemens.
CSD’s experience of working in offshore industries and the performance of their products in arduous environments, helped win this work on one of the largest offshore wind farm’s in the world.

CSD has enjoyed a close working partnership with Harland & Wolff and Blackbourne M&E the Electrical contractor throughout the project. Blackbourne M&E additionally
sub-contracted the installation of the 200 Cable Transits to CSD on the recommendation of Harland & Wolff.
The team of highly skilled installers lead by CSD 's Peter Litchfield and in partnership with CBL worked across the two offshore substations installing over 200 Cable transits in four weeks , ensuring the tight project schedule was completed on time. Blackbourne M&E, Harland and Wolff and ultimate clients Siemens & RWE were very happy with the quality of installation.
CSD were glad to provide additional support in this prestigious project, by skill sharing and working with the customer as an integrated partner. We have been able to implement standards of installation across the board, resulting in a successful deliverance of a challenging project.
