MISSION PRAISE | MISSION FOCUS
(Our first Missionary Weekend!)
A special weekend focusing on the work of Missionaries to be held in Larne Mission Hall, Old Glenarm Road, Larne on the 20th & 21st October.
The two day event begins on Saturday 20th at 7.30pm. (Mission Praise) It will feature stalls from various missionary organisations and a night of praise with a short introduction to the Homan family. (Mission Focus) On Sunday 21st at 11.30am and 7.00pm the Homan family will share something of the work they are involved in as missionaries and church planters in the city of Rome.
Saturday’s Mission Praise will feature a number of well known gospel artists including Judith Beattie, Rebekah Bell & Friends, The Boyd Sisters and others. It promises to be a memorable night of Gospel music. There will be stalls from the following missionary organisations: Amara Aid (Tanzania & Kenya) a Christian charity based in Northern Ireland whose primary objective is to provide medical, educational and agricultural assistance through various projects to poor communities mostly in rural areas in Tanzania and Kenya: http://www.amaraaid.com, Coaching 4 Christ (Worldwide) a Christian sports coaching organisation that uses sport as a platform from which to tell young people all over the world of God's love for them through Jesus Christ: http://www.coaching4christ.co.uk/, Kids4school (Tanzania) Showing Christ’s love in a practical way through Education, Child sponsorship, Feeding Programs and Construction Projects: http://www.kids4school.org/ and the Homan family (Italy). Missionaries and church planters in Rome: http://homanstotheromans.org/ During the interval the stalls will be manned and an opportunity given to talk to representatives and missionaries, collect literature and find out a little more about the organisations featured.
Sunday’s Mission Focus will be taken by the Homan Family.
Former U.S. Marine Jamie Homan from Alabama, answered the call of God to become a Pastor and return to Rome where he had previously been stationed guarding the American Embassy. His wife Csilla (Cheela) was saved through the witness of Jamie. She grew up in Canada and is from a Roman Catholic background. The Lord has been pleased to bless them with 3 children Joshua, Meaghan and Caleb. All three children have personally received The Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Come and hear of the work the family are engaged in, seeking to share Christ in the city of Rome.

Larne Mission Hall is a family friendly, non denominational church based on the Old Glenarm Road in Larne – opposite FG Wilsons. We are a church who love God and want to share His love with the entire community. The event is free of charge and EVERYONE is invited and will be warmly welcomed.
