Governor Mike Beebe Proclaims 3rd Annual Arkansas Week for the Animals October 13-21, 2012

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 8, 2012 - Animal World USA is pleased to announce that Governor Mike Beebe has officially proclaimed 3rd Annual Arkansas Week for the Animals October 13-21, 2012.  This statewide event is designed to celebrate and build awareness on behalf of all animals, as well as recognize the organizations and citizens who support them.   Arkansas Week for the Animals will bring together educators, advocates, animal shelters, rescue organizations, sanctuaries, businesses, students, community leaders, and caring citizens in an exciting week of community-building activities.

The exciting week will feature fall pet adoption events, pet therapy in hospitals, youth activities, horse therapy events, educational activities, wildlife watching/walking tours, special library activities, blessings of the animals, low cost and/or free spay and neuter/microchipping opportunities, meet and greet events, "Paws On Pinnacle" festival,
Humane Society of Pulaski County silent auction gala at the Clinton Library, Stone County Humane Society "Paws for the Cause," salute to working K-9’s, Friends of the Animal Village Doggie Paddle Day, CARE's Annual 5K Run/Walk and so much more!
