At Kolesar & Leatham, Saltzman represents a wide range of liquor retailers, wholesalers and suppliers in licensing and compliance matters in all Nevada jurisdictions.
NALCP selected Saltzman to lead the panel discussion at its annual conference due to his in-depth knowledge of the procedures and processes that affect liquor licensing.
“The liquor licensing procedure varies depending on the jurisdiction,”
The first panel will be comprised of the state administrators from Idaho, Oregon and Arizona, who will discuss the general licensing process in their states as well as any possible or newly implemented policies and how to better work with the state licensing staff.
The second panel will have representatives from the local jurisdictions in Nevada, including Clark County and the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas. The panelists will discuss how retail and hospitality licensing professionals can streamline processes and communicate better with their agencies and investigators. The panel will also address violation resolution, master files, training requirements, how the economy is affecting the licensing process and related agencies, and how to safeguard officer/director information.
