MEElectronics Concludes Successful Sport-Fi Challenge

Combining a locked-in fit, comfort, great sound, and sweat resistance with a full accessory pack, MEElectronics was confident the Sport-Fi S6 would excel even in the most rigorous workouts.

MEElectronics provided Sport-Fi Challenge participants with Sport-Fi S6 workout packages for use during their usual fitness routines in exchange for uploading a video to YouTube showing how the Sport-Fi S6 performed. Once the video was posted as a response to the MEElectronics’ own Sport-Fi Challenge video, and a picture submitted, Sport-Fi Challenge participants were eligible for the prize portion of the contest. Winners were determined by video views, likes, and comments as well as by a MEElectronics staff vote. Prizes included the new iPad, MEElectronics headphones and earphones, and gift certificates.

“We wanted to hear from everyday people that are engaged in sports and fitness activities and would normally buy sports earphones,” said Joe Daileda, Vice President of Marketing at MEElectronics. “We are pleased with the results, as participants loved the Sport-Fi S6, even those with competitor’s earphones.”

More than 27 videos were submitted in response to the challenge with nearly 4,000 video views, over 160 likes, and 60 comments for the participant’s videos, and the contest video received over 1200 views. Participants were engaging in a variety of activities including running, cardio, weight training, Plyometrics, the asylum workout, Trikke riding, and even fishing while using the Sport-Fi S6 headphones. The winning video featured Olympic hopeful Greg West performing for the US Skeleton Championship, and other contestants came from all walks of life including personal trainers, fitness bloggers, students, soldiers, and firemen.
