Burt, a partner in the Phoenix office, recently presented on “Crowdfunding - How to Raise Capital Under the JOBS Act,” during the Annual Retirement Industry Trust Association (RITA) Conference held at the Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The three-day conference, which discussed the latest rules and issues affecting the self-directed retirement industry, was attended by trust companies, trust officers, compliance & IRA professionals, plan administrators and service providers active in the self-directed retirement plan industry. RITA is a professional trade association committed to the continued growth and expansion of self-directed retirement plan administration. It has been preserving and promoting individual and group retirement plans through targeted legislative efforts as well as regulatory concerns.

Brian Burt is the Chair of Snell & Wilmer's Emerging Business Group. He advises entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies in all stages of development, from formation to liquidity.
