Troy D Wakes Up Nashville With New Single, "The Night"

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 11, 2012 - Pop R&B singer, songwriter Troy D, shakes publishers of Savannah Music Group and the "Wake Up Nashville" Foundation with his latest single, "The Night." The foundation and professional music team searched North America for 10 hot indy songwriters and Troy D found himself in the likes of the song critics. The artists were selected to be a part of the music concert in Music Row Nashville that raised over $40,000 in research funds to help find a cure for a life-long, debilitating condition, narcolepsy.

“Music Row can be a challenging environment for artists to get a fair hearing,” said Bob Saporiti, General Manager of Savannah Music Group. But this event was a sure success. The live music event was headlined this year by American country singer, Jimmy Wayne. Hot indy acts followed the performance on September 21, 2012, where the foundation sold $50 tax-deductible tickets at Music Marathon Works. Sponsors of the event included:
Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Saint Thomas Health, of Nashville, and Balfour Beatty Communities.

Troy D is working on a project in Asia and promoting new music. Even though the psychology graduate wasn't able to make the live performance, he felt honored to hear from organization and be a part of a great research and music event. You can download the new single in the U.S. on ITunes for $.99.
