DeadDave Breathes new life into radio

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 7, 2012 - Weatherly, Pennsylvania- October 2012 - DeadDave’s Radio continues to be a rising star on a global scale reaching places like North Korea and Iran according to DeadDave and Lee Platt, hosts of DeadDave’s Internet Radio Show.
David Miller, a.k.a “DeadDave” and Co-Host Lee Platt started the radio show in September 2010 and have experienced dozens of celebrity guests from the music and film industry like Michael Rooker of the hit TV series The Walking Dead, Ty Olsen from Twilight, Lol Tolhurst from The Cure and Phil Anselmo of Pantera and Down.

But the show is not just about big celebrity names.  “The show is and always will be about the fans.”  Miller explains.  “We are in a bad economic climate where concert, music and event sales are down.  DeadDavesRadio provides an experience and personal connection between our audience and stars from the comfort of their own homes.  They can pick up the phone and reach their idols.”
Such was the case when in an interview August 7, 2011 Dave put Sean Patrick Flannery (The Boondock Saints, Powder) in touch with a teenage cancer patient who was more than ecstatic to receive a phone call from her idol.  “It was incredible, giving her inspiration and hope” Miller tells.
Irone Singleton, from the hit TV show the Walking Dead tapped into his childhood and revealed his own personal spiritual awakening during a DeadDavesRadio interview.  “It’s moments like this that have propelled the growing listenership”  Lee Platt adds.  This is promising for Miller and Platt as they strive to achieve their goal of becoming a Satellite radio station in 2012.
“With the amount of Internet radio shows and podcasts being broadcast you must remain competitive and work hard to deliver an experience you cant find anywhere else” Platt stated.  “Professionals in the radio industry have told us that we are ‘doing something right’.  Our guests have been bigger than traditional radio stations in the area.”
