PRLog - Oct. 7, 2012 - LAS VEGAS -- The delightful children’s animation Snapatoonies has won the Semi Finalist place in the TV Pilot awards at the Moondance International Film Awards held in New York this past weekend.

Snapatoonies, already a multi-award winning show, collected yet another prized placing as two of its shows, Counting Kids and Magical Color Caller were jointly awarded the Semi Finalist place.
Moondance International Film Festival is held yearly and attracts films from all over the world. Executive Director, Elizabeth English, said, “Moondancers are part of an amazing worldwide community; a unique collaboration of multi-talented writers, film score composers and filmmakers. The Moondance mission is to entertain, inform, inspire, encourage and educate.”
Spokesperson Lee Brighton, one of the Aussie mum duo from Jordle Productions, who made Snapatoonies said, “We are very excited to win the semifinalist position in the Moondance International Film Festival. This was our first film festival so naturally we are overjoyed to have placed so highly amongst such strong competition in these awards.”
Snapatoonies has been scooping up awards on a regular basis. Its flavorful mix of children’s entertainment, strong learning platform along with delightful characters and storyline has been well regarded by both critics (especially parents) and children alike.
Brighton said, “Children just love the show. They are jumping up and answering the questions with the Snapatoonies kids on the train, and parents are happy to be giving their kids 30 minutes of engaging discovery based learning TV”.
