Gerolzhofen, Germany – Lawrence E. Jackson is proud to offer his debut work, “The Dirt Road On Which I Walk”, It is now available online in either hard copy or various e-book formats.

The Dirt Road is a journey through Life. At fifty-one years of age and twenty-three years of sobriety, the author recounts the circumstances leading to his getting sober. An honest, straight ahead look at the twelve steps of recovery and the God of his understanding he has found along the way. The secrets he has learned to leading a full and full-filling Life. A book for his daughters of what he has discovered from watching them live and the lessons they have taught him. The telling of how he found the true meaning of Love and felt God's gentle touch grace his life.

Raised in Tower, MN, Lawrence is a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant. Currently working and living in the Schweinfurt, Germany, U.S. Army community, the Dirt Road is the author's first release. The Dirt Road details the various aspects of recovery and living a sober life as told through his memories and experiences.

For anyone with knowledge or experience in sobriety, twelve step programs or have friends or loved ones needing help. A common sensed, easy reading book based on the authors experiences in sobriety and in living a good life. Life is meant to be good and joyous. Sometimes it is only a matter of a change of perception to reach the goal of living a life that is rich in meaning and a joy to reflect on over a cup of coffee.
