Due to a last-minute scheduling change, this edition of Rock and Roll 101 is postponed until Sunday, October 21.
The next show, on October 21, features some of the many songs John Lennon and Paul McCartney penned specifically for someone else, and not necessarily for The Beatles. This collection includes hits by Peter & Gordon, Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas, The Silkie, The Fourmost, David & Jonathan and The Rolling Stones; and lost gems by Del Shannon, P.J. Proby, and Cilla Black.
The second hour includes “Can’t Get Used To Losing You” as the Cover of the Week, a tribute to Andy Williams, and a countdown of the Billboard Top Five for October 19, 1963.
So, for a different spin on the golden oldies that time forgot, join Daniel on Sunday, October 21, for two hours of music educational fun on Rock and Roll 101. Class is in session at 5 p.m. Arizona (Pacific) Time, on KQCK-Live Internet Radio, Queen Creek, Arizona.
Schedule subject to change.
