The rules are simple: All stories told at Bawdy Storytelling are a) told to the audience, and not read off of paper, b) about sex, kink or gender, c) told by the person who lived the adventure being shared, and d) told in 10 minutes or less. “Bawdy Storytelling promises you a night of AT LEAST a half dozen truly shocking tales on October 25th and 26th and hell, we believe everyone has a good story buried away. Pitch us your story – there’s no telling who could be next up on the Bawdy stage. It's not about who you are - it's about sharing your own outrageous true story, and building sex-positive community and acceptance of other lifestyles in the process.”
The October 25th “Bawdy Luxe” show (co-produced with Midori, tickets $20) will take place at a private loft in Manhattan, with the address e-mailed after ticket purchase http://bawdyluxe.eventbrite.com. The Friday, October 26th show, themed “No Holds Barred!” will take place at Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO, located at 16 Main St., Brooklyn, NY with tickets sold on their website ($15).
