Finalists in the five Copper Cactus Awards categories – Best Place to Work, Business Growth, Community Service, Nextrio Innovation through Technology, and Small Business Leader of the Year – were selected from over 400 nominations submitted by the community. To be named a Best Place to Work finalist, the business must encourage and support professional growth, education, and development for employees.
CEDR Solutions was one of only 15 businesses who made it to the final round of the Best Place to Work category.
“From the beginning, CEDR Solutions was designed to provide phenomenal service and expertise to our members, and its success is due to our fantastic team of rock star employees,” said CEDR CEO and Co-Founder, Paul Edwards. “Their dedication, talent, and passion for serving the small businesses we support are why I love coming to work every day. I’m extremely proud of what they’ve helped this company to achieve.”
“When we support our members in creating a healthy, productive working environment for their employees, we’re basing it on our own model,” Edwards added.
Since its founding in 2006, CEDR has been providing litigation avoidance and HR support to its more than 600 members located throughout the United States. When crafting their signature product, employee handbooks, CEDR works one-on-one with each member to create a handbook that not only adheres to all state and federal laws, but is also tailored to the member’s specific business culture and goals. CEDR follows that up with on-demand HR support, called the Solution Center. If a member has a policy question, or a current or emerging issue, he or she can call the Solution Center and get direct access to the company’s in-house attorneys.
