As an entrepreneur who has started several businesses, Patrick has found that offering great business opportunities to others is his true passion. “We are always looking for something we can provide to potential new business owners that will be rewarding and lucrative for them,” he says. “We have spent a lot of time and money researching business opportunities that have huge growth potential and where the market is not saturated. I like to say that I am a ‘Lifestyle Creator,’ Patrick adds, “which simply means I like helping others to create a better lifestyle for themselves and their families.”

How does someone know if they have what it takes to own their own business? Tell us a bit about how you made the decision and why.
My experience suggests that someone who is never satisfied or comfortable with just an ordinary "job" is a good candidate. I made the decision to be a business owner because I have creative vision, and I needed an outlet to express it my way.
What was the biggest challenge you faced in your first six months in business? How did you meet that challenge?
The biggest challenge always seems to be cash flow, spending too much on marketing before sales volume increases. I have met that challenge by scaling back on spending. However, this is the EXACT reason why we developed the Eco Fresh Air Business Opportunity. The new Eco Fresh Air dealer does not have to spend money on marketing because we provide all of it up front, INCLUDING working with an Internet marketing company that we have contracted with specifically for this business opportunity!
What is the single strongest piece of advice you would have for someone just starting out in business for themselves?
I would tell them to keep pushing, and it will come to you.
What marketing strategies have you found to be most successful in growing your business?
The answer to that would be what I call "layered marketing," which simply means this: Do not rely on one source for your marketing needs. Do several. For example, running newspaper ads, networking, making new contacts, posting yard signs, using Internet marketing/ads can all be done together in a measured and strategic way. And, you can’t think that one source will work right off the bat. Sometimes a little patience is required.
What is it about the business/industry you are in that made it so attractive to you?
It is so EASY, anyone can do it! That is why we created a whole package for Eco Fresh Air. Skilled or no skills, women and men. Unlimited income, no sales. What else could you ask for?
What on-line, software or other resources have helped you the most in managing all aspects of your company? Why and how have they been helpful?
I’d have to say QuickBooks software. It is helpful to keep track of sales and expenses because I am not good at doing that part of the business myself.
If you own more than one business, how have you integrated your businesses to juggle it all successfully?
Here is my secret as best I can tell it: Do what NEEDS to be done at that moment, and then somehow it all seems to flow from there. I have integrated my businesses with one theme and that is to support myself as a "Lifestyle Creator."
