By: Fade Chromatic ------------------------------------------------------------ ** Fade Chromatic releases music video for lead single "Waiting For The Edge" off their debut self-titled EP** Video link: http://www.youtube.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ 10 months in the making, Toronto-based pop-rock outfit Fade Chromatic has finally released their debut music video for the frenetic, delay-drenched single, "Waiting For The Edge". Shot by Spectrum Pictures over 3 days in Scarborough and downtown Toronto, the video is a dark take on the lyrical content in the band's otherwise upbeat and catchy music. The song is the first official single release from the band's debut self-titled EP, produced by Damon de Szegheo (Bruce Cockburn, Ruby Coast) and Justin Helle. The album was released in July 2012. Formed in early 2011, Fade Chromatic already enjoys a strong fan base and has won over audiences at many high-profile events and festivals (such as CMW 2012 and headlining the T&T Waterfront Nightmarket Festival). The band prides itself on its focused sound, mixing soaring pop vocals and harmonies with aggressive guitar and in-your-face drums. They have a polished sound that appeals to a wide audience, one that is continually expanding. Already a crowd favourite at shows, Waiting For The Edge is starting the rounds on college radio in Southern Ontario. Heading back into the studio for the month of November to record their next effort, and putting together touring plans for early 2013, Fade Chromatic is not a band to be underestimated.
