Fort Collins, Colo. — Adventure Media has named travel industry adventure specialist Caroline Ogden as the Vice President of Business Development. As the VP of Business Development, Caroline will take on the role of strategic planning, marketing, and sales within the North American travel marketplace for select Adventure Media international clients.

Caroline will focus on building relationships and expanding niche markets between international receptive tour operators and North American tour operators, travel agents, and alumni travel programs.  By hiring her as the head of Business Development, Adventure Media is making a long-term commitment to provide its worldwide clients with vital marketing and sales services in addition to Adventure Media’s outstanding media relations services.

Caroline, of Irish descent, first began traveling the globe as an Air Force dependent experiencing life abroad in Bermuda and throughout Europe.  Eventually this led to her kick-starting her career within the international community while working at the German Embassy in Washington, DC, followed by launching the Siemens AG Government Liaison Office, before arriving at Academic Travel Abroad, Inc.  Working as Program Manager for this premiere educational tour operator, Caroline researched and managed innovative and cultural travel experiences for leading institutions worldwide.  

Her globe-trotting adventures invited her to cross Switzerland by foot, witness first-hand the reunification of Germany, introduce yoga groups to unique destinations from Colorado to Nicaragua, and most recently to navigate the "new" and unforgettable frontiers of Cuba. Caroline is excited to bring an insider's look at adventure tourism to Adventure Media while representing international receptive tour operators within the North American marketplace. As the proud mother of two fabulous daughters, Caroline pursues her passion for teaching yoga, hiking, cycling, and playing with her feisty English Bulldog when she is at home in Fort Collins, Colorado.
