For those not familiar with Flyball, it is a dog sporting event that started in the late 1960's with dogs being thrown a tennis ball at the end of a short race. Flyball has grown into 300 annual tournaments across North America and is sanctioned by the North America Flyball Association. The dogs race a 51 foot track with a 'Flyball Box' one end that the dog activates, launching the ball up into the air. Once the dog has caught the ball, he runs back to the starting line where the race is completed.
The big event of the day is the American Idogs show, "Bark to the Future." Described as "America's Got Talent" for dogs, this event brings dogs and their amateur or professional handlers together for anything goes talent auditions. Those that pass the auditions will receive free training, uniforms, transportation, food and compensation for each show.
We will be in attendance to observe the performances and looking to identify more top breeders to add to our national breeder network. Of course, we are also looking forward to seeing all of the dogs in fun outfits and costumes and will feature these on our BetterBreederBureau YouTube Channel. Being that the event is held during October this year, we are sure to have a great turnout.
BetterBreederBureau.com conducts annual visits of our breeders facilities. If we don't like what we see, we don't work with that breeder. This is how we insure that we maintain a network of caring and ethical breeders for our clients. We give future puppy parents a place to come where they can find the right puppy to fit in with their family and confidently buy online worry free. Our puppy consultants can also assist you in finding the perfect pet, just give us a call at 855-787-5463.
