Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are chronic digestive disorders of the intestines. It is estimated that some 1.4 million Americans suffer from IBD, with approximately 30,000 new cases diagnosed each year.

Topics of discussion will include:
•   Role of nutrition – adult and pediatric focus
•   Overview of diets used by IBD patients
•   Eating well with IBD – diet, nutrition, supplements
•   Tools and nutritional resources
•   Question-and-answer session with medical experts
