Saks Fifth Avenue Windows Feature Artwork by Melodie Provenzano

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 5, 2012 - Six of Melodie Provenzano's paintings and one drawing will be on view in the windows at Saks Fifth Avenue, 611 Fifth Avenue New York, New York 10022, from Friday, October 5th until the following Friday, October 12th, 2012. The paintings on display include "Bunny Shark with Strawberries", "Broken Mermaid with Strawberries", "Ballerina and White Horse", "Squirrel with Cherry on Top #2", "Horse Kiss Toile", and "Go Dawg!". The drawing on view titled "Prayer Chimney" is Provenzano's largest work on paper to date. Melodie will also be featured in the show "Rock Center" at Lyons Wier Gallery, which will open November 15th and remain on view until December 15th, 2012.

Melodie Provenzano graduated with a BFA from the Parsons School of Design in 1996. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, including Playing Around at the Brattleboro Museum, Brattleboro, VT. She has been commissioned for selected projects by Saks Fifth Avenue, Chanel, DKNY, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and several private collectors. She lives and works in New York City.
