Brahma's Opening Act for Slayer at Vladivar Rock ‘N India Music Fest

Oct. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Bangalore, October 3, 2012: Mumbai-based heavy metal band, Brahma, will open the show for Slayer at Vladivar Rock ‘N India on Oct 20th at the Bhartiya City. Brahma has been one of the most prolific metal bands India has seen. The Band has stood for real music about real issues delivered in the most real way known to India. The band comprises of Devraj Sanyal on Vocals & Acoustic Guitars, John Ferns on Lead Guitars, Vince Thevor on Bass, Cyrus Gorimar on Drums & percussion and Ferzad Variyava also on Guitars. They created history of sorts by being the first band ever to release an album at an Independence Rock (1996). After recently being in news for launch of its latest album Brahma 3, artists are all excited to create history in music by performing the opening act for Slayer at Vladivar Rock ‘N India.

The selection of the second Indian band, scheduled to play just before Slayer, will be announced 5 days prior to concert. The band hunt is led through a contest in association with Radio Indigo, the radio partners for Vladivar Rock N India. The contest is held through social media - Radio indigo, Vladivar Rock N India pages on Facebook and Twitter, www.indigo919.in and on air. Bands, both local and outstation, are being called to send in their videos, and ask for votes. After receiving votes, the top 5 will be asked to come to Bangalore and perform at a live final selection contest. Judges will then determine the final winner.

Vladivar ROCK ‘N INDIA is the only music platform of its kind and has been at the forefront of bringing top bands in the rock genre to this festival, including iconic acts from Megadeth, Machine Head, Iron Maiden, Biffy Clyro and Metallica.
