Talk and Book Signing: Sara Moulton to Speak at Concord Art Association on November 18, 2012

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 4, 2012 - On Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00pm, chef/author/TV personality, Sara Moulton will talk about her life in food and television - and the changes she’s witnessed – from working with Julia Child to the current trend of food as entertainment.

One of the most trusted names in the food biz, Sara’s credibility rests on her expertise and experience in the kitchen and in front of the camera.

She graduated with high honors from the Culinary Institute of America and named the CIA’s Chef of the Year in 2001. She worked in kitchens in New York and Boston, and taught at Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School (now known as The Institute of Culinary Education).     

Sara is The Food Editor of ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America” and was a founding personality at the Food Network as host of “Cooking Live,”  “Cooking Live Primetime,” and “Sara’s Secrets.”  In 2008 she created “Sara’s Weeknight Meals” for public television. She’s the author of several cookbooks and was the executive chef of Gourmet magazine for over 20 years. In 2011, she launched an iPhone app featuring 60 recipes, 60 photos, and ten videos. In 1982 Sara co-founded the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance, a  network for women in the culinary industry.
