WILMINGTON, NC (September 19, 2012) - Having successfully completed the required comprehensive oral and written examinations, G. Daxton Steele, M.D., of OrthoWilmington, PA has achieved certification in the medical specialty of orthopaedics by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (A.B.O.S.).

Dr.Steele received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. He then furthered his training through a fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at OrthoCarolina’s Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte, NC.   At OrthoWilmington, Dr. Steele specializes in hip and knee joint reconstruction, as well as general orthopaedics.
