Years ago a fortune was stolen. A fortune so vast, many would continue to risk their lives searching for it.
Maggie Vargas is a smart, beautiful, and polished professional social worker in a small Midwestern town. She is also a very gifted individual who delights in secretly using her gifts to help others—especially one gift…a psychic gift.
Maggie sees into the complex, multilayered lives of those around her, their actions, and the resulting consequences. But despite her lifelong efforts to keep that ability a secret, her luck is about to run out.
Maggie’s gift is uncovered by someone quite unsuspected—
Before long, though, Maggie meets the Don’s son, Dominic Rossi, and the fear that had plagued her is now replaced by something else…something pleasing and exciting.
In the extraordinary journey that ensues, Maggie and her psychic powers are tested to the extreme. Not only must she attempt to free herself from the Mafia’s stranglehold on her, but she must also reconcile the romantic feelings she has for Dominic, the son of a deadly serious man.
“Maggie Vargas: On the Run is a pinnacle achievement and a supersonic recipe for excitement,”
Beth Otto grew up in a small suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She attended Grand Valley State University, and was lucky in love when she met her husband of twenty-four years while vacationing in Hawaii. Today, they live with their sons in northeastern Wisconsin where she continues to stay true to her “inner girl” in a house full of men.
