Here come the girls! And mums...its National Business Mum Week!
Business Mum Week was created to inspire the growth of UK mum-owned enterprise. The week was the idea of a fellow business mum and founder of MumsClub, Jane Hopkins MBE with the aim of creating local media interest in mum run businesses and to create more mum-owned businesses.
Amanda Kennedy mum of 2 is a Salisbury mum who set up Kennedy PR in 2009 and is almost 4 years into celebrating its success. The company is an online Digital Marketing Company, which helps local and national businesses with social media marketing, search engine optimisation and copywriting. Amanda also helps and mentors a number of business owners with marketing and personal development.
Amanda comments:
‘Being a mum and running my own company has proved to be both rewarding and highly taxing! I am so lucky that the children have embraced my entrepreneurial spirit and support me wholeheartedly.
