THE DOUBLETREE BY HILTON TARRYTOWN NAMES PETER JISER  
AS DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING

Tarrytown, NY (October 4, 2012) – The DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown today announced that Mr. Peter Jiser has been appointed its new Director of Sales & Marketing.  Mr. Jiser will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing as well as revenue management, forecasting, budgeting and business development.  

Mr. Jiser brings more than 20 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry to his new role.  He previously held senior-level sales positions at the Hilton Westchester Hotel in Rye Brook and the Intercontinental Hotels Group and the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, both in Stamford.  During his tenure at the Hilton Westchester, Mr. Jiser was responsible for managing key corporate accounts and was consistently recognized for his leadership and sales excellence.
 
Mr. Jiser returns to the hotel industry after five years in the financial services industry in Wealth Management at both JPMorgan Chase and UBS Financial Services, Inc.  During his four year tenure at JPMorgan Chase, Mr. Jiser managed relationships with high net worth clients in the Greenwich, CT community.

Mr. Jiser began his career as Owner and Vice President of Calvary Tours, Inc., in Fairfield, CT, where he produced and marketed a series of tour packages tailored to take affluent clients to a variety of international destinations.
   
Mr. Jiser resides in Westport, Connecticut and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fairfield University in Connecticut.
