Wasabi Ventures Venture Partner Becomes EiR.

East Coast Venture Partner, Bobby Touran, becomes Wasabi Ventures’ Entrepreneur in Residence.  Touran says, "the EiR role allows me to focus more on the operations-side rather than the investment-side. Our work at WV is already very hands on, so that won't be too big of a shift. I'm just excited to be living the life of the entrepreneur again."

Touran came to WV as an entrepreneur, with experience working on and founding several start-ups. He began his career at WV as a Venture Partner, tasked with identifying prospective portfolio companies and bringing them into the WV process. Touran worked closely with many of the companies in the portfolio applying internal resources as well as his prior experience.

"My role as a venture partner was the single most eye-opening personal  and professional experience I have had so far-- exposing me to most of the do's and don't do's of the business world. Before WV, I was an entrepreneur. Now I can apply what I've learned with Wasabi and *hopefully* make fewer mistakes this time around."

Touran embraces his new role with enthusiasm and is looking forward to being an entrepreneur again. Touran says “I rarely thought of myself as an investor, but rather as a fellow entrepreneur. Oftentimes I found myself missing the life of an entrepreneur, and with this new role I can stop wondering 'what if..'".
