Prem has Thailand’s first certified Trainer for International Award Leaders

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 3, 2012 - Peacock recently attended a course in Beijing to qualify him as a trainer, and eligible to qualify other potential IA leaders.  He is one of the first trainers of IA Leaders to be based in Thailand, and intends to start by training more leaders within Prem, (http://ptis.threegeneration.org) then within Chiang Mai, and then spreading out across the rest of Thailand and Southeast Asia.

The International Award (http://www.intaward.org), also known as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, is a non-profit organisation with over eight million young participants around the world.  It is a challenging program with gold, silver and bronze levels.

The IA is widely considered by schools, universities and employers as an achievement that demonstrates commitment to a challenge, personal organisation, and interest in personal improvement along with many more valuable skills, depending on students’ choices within the Award.

Developing more leaders for the IA opens the door so that more young people can be given a chance to take on this challenge. Peacock hopes to run at least three training days each year with the hope of aiding the spread of IA to many more schools within Thailand and Southeast Asia.
