O Canada! Your Hillside Sedona Life Awaits

Hillside Sedona is "just right" for Canadian visitors; Arizona is one of the two top destinations for Canadians.

PRLog - Oct. 3, 2012 - PHOENIX -- Sedona’s red rocks, ablaze with autumnal tones, welcome Canadian neighbors for a first or renewed encounter with American Southwest luxury and hospitality nestled within Hillside Sedona.  Conveniently located on Highway 179, Hillside Sedona’s free parking affords convenience of one-stop shopping and dining in a full day of immersion in red rock splendor and discovery of luxe, personalized boutique, gallery and dining options in one location, ideal for a “walkabout”.

Hillside Sedona is “just right” for Canadian visitors. They cite significant economic value, so much so that North America’s northernmost travelers are now the largest percentage of new home owners in Arizona.  Vance Cariaga identified Canadians today in Investors Business Daily “long the largest single group of foreign purchasers of U.S. residences” and referenced “Canadians accounted for 24% of U.S. home sales to foreigners in the year ended in March, according to a report out last month from the National Association of Realtors (NAR).”
Jed Smith, an NAR economist, cites Arizona as one of the two top destinations for Canadians:  “They like to buy for vacation purposes and like to have a place in the sun,” Smith says. He continues:  “One reason the dollar value is higher as a share of the total is that foreign buyers tend to go after more expensive properties than typical U.S. buyers. . . More than 60% pay in cash.”  Specifically, NAR discovered western Canadians prefer to buy in Arizona.
Diane Olson, real estate agent with United Brokers Group in Phoenix, concurs with NAR’s assessment.  Just about all of her business comes from Canadians, most of who hail from western provinces.  Olson continues:  “Canadians have really made an impact in this market because the Canadian dollar is pretty much at par with the U.S. dollar, and U.S. prices have come down. . . People are coming in with cash, which also helps, since you don’t have the hurdles you face with financing.”
Cities in Arizona do particularly well in national studies.  For example, Phoenix logged a 13.9% year-over-year gain to lead all cities in the 20-city composite of S&P/Case-Shiller’s National Home Price Index/Real estate held by Canadians is worth more than $140,000 on average and Canadians have almost four times as much equity in their real estate investments.
Hillside Sedona is the Pinnacle of Luxury for western Canadian discerning visitors and new Arizona residents.  While proferring unbeatable quality and corroborating great value, Hillside Sedona parallels a high return on the shopping investment.  All this is emerges from the visceral thrill amid ancient lands’ red rocks... Hillside Sedona merchants recently formed the Hillside Sedona Consortium (“HSC”) to unify their branding message of their distinctive galleries representing international and nationally-known artists, wood carvers, sculptors and ceramists; restaurants, luxury clothing, jewelry, home décor and furnishings .  On-site personal salon services cap the scope of Canadians’ hearts desires.  HSC’s collective efforts disseminate the remarkable one-stop luxury to be enjoyed, savored, remembered and taken home.  Luxury also means focus, attention to clientele, offering the unexpected, specialized and often treasured souvenir from a vacation experience or personal service selections for a second home investment located in Sedona.

Pinnacle of luxury. . .

Max Ernst, the German surrealist, chose to build a residence in Sedona in the 40s…He stated:  “There are only two places in the world I want to live—Paris and Sedona.” Paris or Sedona?  You decide! Come and see for yourself!
