Bonefish Grill Event Raised Funds for Quality Life Center Programs

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 3, 2012 - Quality Life Center held its 5th annual BoneWish Fundraiser in Fort Myers on Saturday. With great food and a relaxed atmosphere, the event raised over $10,000 which will be used to support Quality Life Center’s youth and community programs.  The event was made possible courtesy of sponsor Bonefish Grill, and recognized local educator James Middlebrooks for his commitment to educational excellence in the community.

Quality Life Center youth Dedrick, 14 and Angel, 17 along with Creative Arts Coordinator Shari Armstrong performed a poem about empowerment.  Business student and aspiring restaurateur Michelle Pope gave a touching and inspiring speech about hardships she endured and how the organization’s Believe to Achieve program helped her succeed.
