e2b teknologies To Support National Domestic Violence Awareness Month This October

Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Chardon, Ohio-The Month of October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month; e2b teknologies has planned a number of activities for the month to show their support . The company will be supporting Forbes House, a local shelter for those who have experienced violence in their home. Forbes House is Lake County’s shelter for victims of domestic violence, providing services to family members whose lives have been affected by physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. The shelter provides services such as 24-hour emergency shelter, support groups, community education, individual advocacy, and legal aid.  

e2b employees will collect old cell phones that will be donated to the shelter as well as spend the month collecting items on the wish list provided by Forbes House. Items such as clothing, cleaning supplies, paper products, and personal hygiene products will be donated by the employees to the women and children staying at the shelter.

President of e2b teknologies, Lynne Henslee said “we are happy to help provide cell phones and supplies for the women and children of Forbes House, it is a comfort to know there is a place victims can go and get help from both an emotional and legal standpoint”

Other efforts to support Domestic Violence Awareness Month include raising awareness on social media and letting others know how they can get involved.  e2b teknologies will also use social media to assist in the promotion of Purple Lights Night; an annual event supporting those who have fallen victim to domestic violence. The event takes place October 6th from 5-8p.m. at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
