Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Craig Denney, an attorney in the Reno office, has been selected to serve on the board of trustees of the Nevada Museum of Art.

The only accredited art museum in the state, Nevada Museum of Art is a private, non-profit organization supported by the generosity of its membership as well as by sponsorships and grants.

“As a regular attendee of the museum’s exhibits and events, I value all that the museum brings to the Reno community,” Denney said. “I am delighted and honored to have been selected to serve on this board. I look forward to working with my fellow board members to continue to bring engaging and timely exhibits, and providing rich cultural programming for the community and region.”

Denney is a board certified criminal trial advocate with over 35 federal jury trials under his belt. He is licensed in federal and state courts in Nevada and California. Denney has served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Nevada, where he prosecuted complex federal offenses including money laundering, fraud schemes and federal regulatory offenses. More recently, Denney has defended both corporate and individual clients in federal and state criminal and quasi-criminal investigations in Nevada and California. Whether it is the service of a grand jury subpoena, the investigator knocking at the company’s door, the execution of a search warrant or a criminal indictment, corporate and individual clients rely on Denney for advice and legal defense in the most difficult situations. “Thorough and professional” was the description of his successful defense of a public official in an ethics investigation.
