Pinchers Crab Shack is the ideal place to experience stone crabs this season with “you can’t fake fresh” as their company motto and a main focus on superior quality control. As the largest retail stone crab purveyor on the West Coast of Florida and the second largest in the country, they own The Island Crab Company, a seafood wholesaler and distribution facility in Pine Island, Florida.
Knowing that stone crabs are the only renewable resource in the water, Island Crab Company expertly crabs our local waters for Pinchers providing their customers the freshest product as they control the seafood from the water to the table. Guests can purchase claws to eat at any of their seven locations, or purchase some to take home from one of their in-store seafood markets.
"As the second largest purveyor of stone crab claws in the country, this season is one we look forward to each year", commented Grant Phelan, Director of Operations for the family owned and operated business. “We look forward to serving claws on the 15th and really celebrating the season with Stone Crab Fest as well as City Fest later in the month.”
