Smart Betty Kelowna Purchases GoSango’s Assets

Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Kelowna, BC, October 3, 2012: Following a struggle with bad publicity, GoSango, an online coupon company in Kelowna, closed its doors last month.
However, GoSango’s customers looking for great on-line deals won’t need to worry. Bruce Maki, owner of the Smart Betty Kelowna franchise quickly entered into negotiations with GoSango, and late last week it was announced that the assets of GoSango were purchased by the Smart Betty franchise in Kelowna.  
Local merchants who were sending out great deals, through GoSango, to the people of Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton and Vernon can continue offering discounts of 50-90% off their products and services to their community through Smart Betty. The merchants can look forward to the potential for increased sales through the expanded customer base.
Local charities will also benefit from this purchase, as Smart Betty is the only on-line daily deal site which donates 10% of all revenue from their sales, to local non-profit associations chosen by the consumer. Some of the local charities who have partnered with Smart Betty Kelowna include Wish Come True Society, Okanagan Boys and Girls Club, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Okanagan and many more.
