Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog Sponsors Walk for Hospice of Wake County

Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 3, 2012) – Cranfill Sumner and Hartzog LLP (CSH), one of the largest law firms in North Carolina with more than 100 attorneys serving clients across the state, is proud to announce that it is serving as the 2012 presenting sponsor for Step Lively A Walk for Hospice. CSH has served as the presenting sponsor annually, beginning with the inaugural walk in 2010.

“The entire CSH team is proud to support Hospice of Wake County and sponsor Step Lively,” said CSH Managing Partner Dan Hartzog. “I do not think the public is aware of all of the outreach and services provided by HOWC. The Step Lively walk is important to raising awareness and funding for the organization, and we at CSH look forward to walking together as a team to show our support.”

Since Step Lively’s beginning in 2010, more than $114,000 has been raised from this event alone. The proceeds from the walk go to benefit the Hospice of Wake County Benevolent Care Program as well as the Horizons Grief Center. Last year, 320 participants signed up for Step Lively, 47 of whom were CSH team members. The 2011 walk raised more than $49,000.
