This October is Full of Treats for Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 3, 2012 - [Middletown, NJ] – Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe knows all about giving back to their community and October is full of events that help bring home this fact.  There will be many opportunities to catch up with this award winning chocolate shoppe at a variety of charity events around Monmouth County.  For the second year in a row, Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe will be participating in the Best of Monmouth 2012 Party & Expo, on October 11th from 5-9PM at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park.  This event highlights the winners of the Best of Monmouth 2012 in a variety of categories.  This year marks the third year that Suzi’s was voted best Chocolate.  According to Susan Hordych, owner of Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe, “Being part of the Monmouth County community has always been a source of pride for us.  We like to participate in a variety of charity events and are always looking for ways to give back, and having our fans and community vote for us in the Best of Monmouth for our chocolate is really the icing on the chocolate-covered cupcake for us!”

In addition to the Best in Monmouth Party and Expo, you will find Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe participating in the Signature Chefs Auction on Monday, October 15th at the Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ.  This event will honor Dr. Anthony Marino, Medical Director for the Maternal/Child Services for CentraState Healthcare System and is sponsored by the March of Dimes.  Suzi’s will be on hand to provide samples of their delectable chocolate creations.  This is a must-attend event for anyone who enjoys a culinary excursion that includes sampling fine foods and wine from top local chefs and restaurants.  Tickets to this event are available here.

Another favorite event for Suzi’s is the 2012 CPC Culinary Adventure, which is being held on Monday, October 27th at the Deal Golf & Country Club from 6-9PM.  This fundraiser is hosted by the CPC Fundraiser and all proceeds will used to fund programs for those in need of counseling programs provided by CPC Behavioral Healthcare.  In addition to the food and wine tasting, there will be a Gift & Silent Auction and Handmade Quilt Raffle.  Suzi’s is looking forward to being one of the many restaurants and food providers serving up their very best in gourmet delights.  For more information on this event please click here.

“Michael’s Feat is another charity that is near and dear to us at Suzi’s.  It provides support to parents caring for seriously ill newborns and it is our pleasure to participate in this year’s Wine & Chef’s Tasting on November 1st.  This event will be at The Mill in Spring Lake Heights and we are looking forward to seeing all of our customers support this cause with us as well,” continues Susan.  This walk-around charity event will feature a variety of wines and spirits and samples from the area’s best restaurants and caterers.
