VERC Enterprises partners with Gulf to participate in Making Strides Against Cancer; team of 50 employees to take part in October 14 walk
DUXBURY, MA, ISSUED OCTOBER 2, 2012…VERC Enterprises, a leading convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, has partnered with Gulf to raise funds for the Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, slated on October 14th at the Hatch Shell in Boston.
A team of 50 employees will represent VERC Enterprises at the fundraising event; the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to honor breast cancer survivors, increase awareness about the disease and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease through research, information and services.
VERC Enterprises is now accepting donations for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in each of its locations; all contributors will be entered into an October 12th raffle with the winner from each VERC location receiving a free tank of gasoline. For each donation received over the course of the next two weeks, VERC Enterprises will make a contribution to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
